I found someone who is driving from NY to chicago on Monday (aug 29) and looking for someone to share the ride (would pay all gas and tolls themselves- want a second driver).

so as another option if anyone knows someone who might be interested in driving with the other guy from NY and then driving this car back east a day or two later please pm me (we can provide a place to sleep in chicago for a night or two). (all gas and tolls would be covered plus some extra but not tons extra)

Not enough to pay for a return flight. Hoping to find someone (bochur?) Going anyway that wouldn't mind a free ride.

Think we were thinking $100 total. Will be handed over with a full tank of gas. Doesn't need to arrive in Lakewood with a full tank. Tolls should be a bit over $20. Gas should be under $50 (based on mileage and the fact that we usually filled up fully twice while driving but wanted a full tank at the ended of the trip. And we didn't usually start off with a full tank cause its cheaper in Indiana) the change of the $100 is the drivers to keep.
