Hi I know a lot of people go to Pennsylvania Dutch Country in the summer and I was hoping to get an updated list of
coupons
discounts
ideas
reviews on places
I'm going for the 4th year in a row but my kids are a little bit older and I would love to try new stuff.
If you are going to, let us know what you did and how it went!

I'm following this. I went years ago when I had 2 young children, and haven't been back since. Now my kids are 10-16. What do you recommend?

Does HersheyPark still do half-price admission for the last 3 hours of the day? I'm also planning on visiting Lancaster at the end of August.

Which farm gives kosher milk at the end? I never heard of that one!

Yes, in parts. There are also these huge fans to cool you off and an area that rains on you. The eating areas are shaded. And I believe the nursing room is air conditioned!

I've never done longs park. I can say that my kids LOVE cherry crest even though it's a little hot there.

FYI Just found out that they switch to fall hours as of 8/28 so if you go next week, the preview hours are 3-6

http://www.hersheypark.com/tic.....s.php sunset admission
(If you want to do a big amusement park but save on admission check out Knoebels - it is an amazing park - about 1 hour drive from Harrisburg and 3 hours from Lakewood - all the big and small rides, but you pay per ride. Where a big park would have cost my family close to $250 we spend just over $100 - and went on every ride we wanted and there are few lines).
Krieder Farms makes Cholov Yisroel milk, but I never heard of them giving it out after the tour, maybe that is new?
Perrydell farm is a free cow milking farm in York.
Lake Tobias - Fantastic Animal Safari\zoo\petting zoo outside of Harrisburg
Verdant View Farm - Hands on tour of a farm
Codorus State Park - rent a large pontoon.
Utz or Herrs factory tour
