I'm looking for suggestions, or just what different people do. I am in Israel with my husband in kollel and toddler in gan, so we all get a break at around 1 and have lunch then and then theoretically supper at around 7:30. So I'm wondering what people do with this set up, which I guess is similar to Sundays or days off in the US. If your main meal is supper but you're eating lunch together, too, what do you have?
We used to have bread with dips for breakfast, salad/veggies and fruit for lunch, and a more main-mealish supper (grain, protein, cooked veggies). But now I'm thinking my son needs more in the afternoon and something light around 6, so I'm thinking maybe switching to make lunch more "main" would be better. Or maybe just adding something like pasta that my son might eat. Looking for ideas. Thans.
