I am planning to go back to work in another two months after having a baby and I'm looking for a babysitter. I was planning to share the babysitter with one other person who has a baby the same age as mine. I have a babysitter who I like, but she mentioned that she would like to watch a third baby as well. Is three babies too much? I want her to be able to give my baby lots of attemtion and I'm not sure how comfortable I am with this. What do you think?

I think 3 babies is a lot for one person.

In my baby's daycare there infant ratio is 1:4. That said, that's in a facility not a home setting, so it's much more conducive to that ratio in that they have multiple cribs, bouncy chairs, high chairs etc. They are also used to having that ratio so they have a finely honed system (white boards, etc) I was comfortable with it in daycare but woukdnt be the same in a home setting.

That's too many. Perhaps offer to increase her pay?
