If no one posts it before that, I will bli neder post it when I can get to it later today.
I was wondering if anyone tried the brown sugar bundt cake recipe. Was it good? Was it hard to get out of the pan?

Brown Sugar Pound Cake
1.5 c margarine
2 c light br sugar
1 c sugar
5 eggs
3 c flour
1 t baking powder
1 c almond milk
Chocolate Fudge Bundt Cake
2 c sugar
1.75 c flour
0.75 c cocoa
1.5 t baking powder
1.5 t baking soda
1 t salt
1 c pareve milk
1 c boiling water
1/2 c oil
2 eggs
1 t pure vanilla extract
(BTW, this looks a lot like the Hershey's choco cake)
Two-Tone Crumb Cake
4 c flour
1.5 c sugar
1.5 sticks/0.75 c margarine
2.5 t vanilla extract
0.5 c oil
1 (3.5 oz) package chocolate pudding mix, divided
4 eggs
1 c orange juice
3.5 c baking powder
Mix first set of ingredients except only include 1 T of pudding mix.
Remove 1 c of crumbs and set aside.
To first bowl, add second set of ingredients and mix.
Remove 1/2 of batter (this is the vanilla batter).
Add remaining chocolate pudding to 1/2 of batter in bowl.
Pour chocolate batter into tube pan.
Top with vanilla batter.
Top with crumbs.
Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
There's also tofutti swirl marble cake but I don't want to type it up unless someone specifically wants it.
hatzlacha!

I made the Bina choc bundt yesterday and it was a wreck. I let it cool almost 10 min and flipped. I greased the pan well. And floured. Came completely apart. I'm buying Yom Tov deserts now. Don't want to waste my time. Would rather put my time into the salads and healthy mains.

That's so weird, because I've made the hershey's chocolate cake recipe (which the Binah recipe is, exactly, except they use 1 t vanilla instead of 2) in bundt pans before, and it always came out great.
You need to spray the bundt pan VERY WELL and let cake cook completely. I don't think 10 minutes is enough.
Sorry! It's still a good cake recipe. You may want to try it in a 9x13.

We made the brown sugar one - twice. In two different pans. Both times it broke apart.

I made it in a bundt pan -- it came out of the pan perfectly. I did grease & flour the pan (which I always do with a bundt pan). We haven't eaten it yet; it is in the freezer for the last days.

The chocolate cake is virtually identical to the Hershey's chocolate cake which I make all of the time (including this week) and it always comes out great. Again, I do grease and flour the pan.

I find that the quality of the actual bundt pan makes a difference.

Yes, I agree. I have a heavy Nordicware pan and I think it makes a big difference. I've tried non-stick pans and silicone pans and this is by far the best.

I found almost this exact recipe on a recipe website (they make it dairy and add toffy bits and pecans). That recipe recommends a caramel drizzle for the top of the cake made with condensed milk. Can anyone recommend a substitution or different recipe for a caramel drizzle?
