what type of blanket do you have for your children? till now I've been using fuzzy blankets but I want to "upgrade" to regular blanket that go in a blanket cover. I'm looking to buy online but I have no idea how or where to search and what to buy.
anyone know what the typical blankets are called? I don't want down as it's too puffy and not so manageable for a young child.
what is the standard size blanket (name) that fits in the blanket cover from jewish stores?

I get my kids down alternative comforters/quilts. Can often be purchased fairly inexpensively when on sale at stores like target or kohls or marshall's. Size of the blanket will depend on the size of your child's bed. In my experience a twin size is most common for kids. If using with a duvet cover you can get a plain comforter http://www.target.com/p/room-e.....dp_2. Or you can go with a patterned one if you want to be able to use it out of a cover http://www.target.com/p/citrus.....0532.
