Sorry if this is tmi but my five year old son picks his nose AND PUTS IT IN HIS MOUTH and it drives me absolutely, positively bonkers. No amount of scolding helps. I know that's the wrong path to take but I just don't know what to do to get him to stop. It's bad enough that he picks his nose - that could be bec it's dry and itchy (possibly) so I was thinking of using a saline spray (though when I did it once he would run away, he hated it, so I don't know how I'd do it regularly) but the putting the snot in his mouth part is just too much for me.
Help! How can I get him to stop?

My ds does the same thing and like you I find it disgusting. Since I can't get him to stop I told him that he shouldn't let me see him do it. When he does it he turns his back to me. I obviously know what he's doing, but at least I don't see it. It's actually quite funny when he does it, turn around. He doesn't always, but he tries.
