we are not living in our apartment anymore and need to sell our American appliances. I have no idea how much to ask. I tried to look on janglo but was unsuccessful finding answers.
Can anyone advise me as to how much I could ask for:
1) 10 year old amana fridge with bottom freezer in good condition
2) 10 kilo German whirlpool washer and dryer- 8 years old in good condition
3) double American dacor ovens in good condition -8 yrs old
4) American ge large freezer in good condition -8 yrs old

I really appreciate any and all advice.

It may be hard to sell appliances that are not from israel. Do you have adapters? Dont forget then to put that in to the price as well.
Things that are ten year old, like your fridge, I wouldnt ask all that much.
1. Maybe 1500
2. Possibly 2000
3. Oven - what are the measurements? That will make a difference.
4. Also, what are the measurements?

IME appliances that old, even if they're in good condition, don't have a lot of resale value.

Thanks for the replies so far! I'm not exactly sure about the measurements but I'll find out. They are def wider than an Israeli oven. Does that benefit me ?

Do you have a really rough ballpark of what you think the machines and ovens could go for? I assume they have adapters because I used them all this time with no issue

I dont think it benifits you at all actually. the standard size of an oven is 60 cm and if that is the space allotted then something bigger wont work.

ill say what the other poster said. after 10 years even if something is in good condition its still 10 years old so I really dont think you will be able to get all that much.

Does that mean asking 1500-2000 is too high for the fridge? I was thinking at least 8000 for the washer dryer set and at least 5000 for the double ovens. Is this way too high?

Those prices are way out of line. I assume that when you say "american appliances" that you brought them from the US on a lift but they are 220 volt and don't require a converter. You will never get anyone to pay anywhere close to the prices that you are listing for appliances that are close to 10 years old. I bought a brand new dryer 2 years ago that is 8 kilos for well less then 1500NIS. The extra 2 kilos just wouldn't be worth it to anyone especially since they are 10 years old. Big freezers used to be something that you couldn't get here 10 years ago but now you can get huge freezers so while you can probably sell it you aren't selling something that people are willing to pay a premium for even though it is old because they can't get it here. I also happen to be in the market for a new fridge and the huge one like 860 liters (they didn't sell these 10 years ago so has to be bigger then the one you are selling) are going for 8000 NIS. Just to give you an idea of how to price your items.

You can ask whatever you want, but I would never pay anywhere near those prices for 8-10 year-old appliances.

I was told to deduct 20% from the purchase price for every year it was used.
