Hi, I am looking for a place in Lakewood that will do a quick eye exam without an appointment? Are there any places that will do that for not too expensive? My ds needs his eyes checked ASAP. Thank you.

Try calling some of the optical places, like Gefen Optical, and ask them if they have an optometrist that could check you.

Yes I spoke to them this morning and they're booked till after Sukkos.

Try Vision Works on Rt. 70 in Brick. You do have to make an appointment but they have much more availability.

It may be worth waiting for an appointment with dr Cohen at gefen, he is good and accurate. Another optometrist from a popular local store misdiagnosed my kid big time.
