Can someone tell me about this boys' school?
What are the students like in terms of academic level and frumkeit? What is the parent body like? What are staff members like? What is the curriculum- do they have a strong secular curriculum? Do they learn Yiddish? Do they emphasize middos? Is it a big school, small school? Is it a warm school?
Is this considered a "hard to get in" school? Please tell me anything and everything.

I don't know why but that school is no ones first choice.

And I know that the teachers themselves won't send their boys there.

Please be careful with motzei shame ra. I know plenty of good, frum families in the community who send there.
You don't even know what it is people supposedly don't like about the school?

A school that is supposedly falling apart doesn't go and build a humongous building on Oak Street.

They aren't, actually. That's Tashbar's building. The lot on the other side belongs to Kol Torah and there's a sign that says "Future site of yeshiva kol torah" that's been there for 5 years.

I personally know 5 people who switched out this year. One parent told me horrific things... Stay away. Tashbar and ytt and oh rye hide are taking in the boys because they know it's a bad situation.

OP as with all Lakewood schools, beware of rumors. Speak to people who send there.
