I have cellulitis on my foot that's taking some time to heal. After I shower, how can I clean the shower/bath? I want to make sure no one else in my family gets it. My kids bathe in the bath/shower that we use.

Maybe use scrubbing bubbles...it's a spray that turns into foam after letting it's sit for 10 minutes. Then I wipe away with a Clorox wipe. In the shower then you can hose it down when done

Dh is allergic to all bleach products so don't own any.

Does the scrubbing bubbles disinfect?

Cellulitis is not contagious.

If there's puss are you sure it's not contagious? It's bacteria.

I just want to make sure no one else gets it.

The only way someone else could *potentially* get it is if they have an open wound and the bacteria gets in the wound.

Cellulitis is a flat red skin infection. If there is pus, perhaps you have a wrong diagnosis? A boil/blister/abscess is caused by bacteria that is contagious but a cellulitis is not (although it is a bacterial infection as well, just a different one). Are you on antibiotics? Did your doctor tell you that what you have is contagious?
