This thread is amazing. I read the first couple of pages yesterday, and I was really horrified about the op. Now I started on the ninth page and I can't believe it's the same thread! I read through a little just to figure out how it got from there to here. Mommy3b2c - you are incredible, but then we already knew that!

I would stick with the cardigan. No shell. And keep it simple. There is color on the bottom, so just do a navy cardigan worn open.
