Any out of the box activities that you can recommend for areas in or near chaifa- more off the beaten track kind of stuff for teenagers.

What is "out of the box"? As a young adult I enjoyed the Naval Museum. What does this teenager enjoy?

out of the box would be something I would not really find in a tour book- something with an interesting history or back story or activity.

I know a tour guide who works in the Haifa area. Young Israeli guy, religious, very enthusiastic + very nice. I don't know if he speaks English. If you're interested in his name and number let me know by PM.
In general, there are walking tours of Haifa and Akko, and a lot of places to hike in and around Haifa.
Activities in general - Israelis are into escape rooms recently, I'm sure you could find some in the area.
