So my dd has a sweater that says hand wash only. I washed it by hand in water and lay flat to dry but boy is this a pain. I have a setting on my washer that says hand wash. (I use that for tights). Has anyone ever used that setting for a hand wash only item? Or might it ruin this sweater?

What is the sweater made out of? Depending what it's made out of you, you can use the gentle wash cycle on your machine.
Also, There are special netted bags made for the washing machine to wash delicate clothing in.

It's 100% wool. Does that mean I can put it in the hand wash cycle?
