My freezer is always a mess. I have the type where the freezer is on top of the fridge.
Everything is piled one on top of the other, and everytime I take something out everything comes flying.
I'm looking for tips on how to organize it. Thanks.

Can you put a wire shelf inside, it will help divide the things into top and bottom.
I also put tiny items into larger plastic containers to keep them confined into 1-2 places.

This. Using a shelf will make it a little more organized. Also, try to create "zones" within the freezer. For example, keep all frozen veggies in one area, bread in another, meat/chicken in one area, etc. This way it's easy to find what you need and you don't need to dig through the whole freezer to get what you're looking for.

We have the same problem with our freezer. Next fridge we buy, the freezer will be on the bottom. Im sure there are issues with those as well, but I'm tired of trying to keep things from falling out of the freezer on top!
