Can I just pour on some BBQ sauce and put steak in the oven on broil? I like it well done, but not dried out. So, how long should I leave it in for? Thanx.

Barbecue sauce will burn in the broiler. You can sprinkle the steaks with salt and pepper and only add the barbecue sauce for the last minute or two.
What sort of steaks are you using? This will make a difference in how many minutes are needed in the broiler.

I'd skip the BBQ sauce. Use garlic, salt and pepper.
If your broiler works well and doesn't char the food, for well done, I'd say about 7 minutes on one side and 5 on the other.
