Any recommendations of a book or method for sleep training- one that does not involve letting the baby cry themselves to sleep!

I had big success with Ferber method. You might consider it crying yourself to sleep but I didn't see it that way. Its done in a way where the baby feels secure and safe through the whole process and it took just a few days

Please dont use the ferber method its unfair to the babyband outdated. I recently read that said Ferber himself regrets things he said.
