I am looking for the perfect stroller. I live in NY and walk a lot. I had the Mountain Buggy swift until now and loved it. It served its purpose in every way. I just need a change. Anyone?

What's your budget? I'm a big fan of the uppababy vista.
If it's not for a newborn then the uppababy Cruz would also work well for you.

My budget is $500 max since I will need a double too and its kid number .... Kah. I go out daily so want something that's comfy for a newborn and easy to wheel. I don't mind buying last years style if it's cheaper.

Uppa baby is a great carriage but its very heavy compared to the swift. I compared them this summer.

The swift was great because I shlept it up the train station and was able to fold it nicely if I took an Uber home.

The uppababy vista folds nicely and can convert to a double. Love it.

Go for the Uppababy Cruz. You are going to love it.
Heads up - it's going to be 20% off on Black Friday at PishPosh Baby - you'll get a really really great deal on a really really awesome stroller. Own and love it.

Some great aspects of it: reversible seat, easy recline, huge hood, and humongous underseat basket!

I love my mamas and papas urbo 2. Its a pretty stroller, wide seat, easy maintenance and great quality. Liked the idea that I was able to purchase a bassinet for the newborn stage.

I would not recommend Mamas&Papas. the company is a bit mismanaged and the warranty will be hard to use

Attention OP: If you really budgeted for $500, then please do spend more than $300 on a good stroller and do not get convinced to look at any cheaper strollers bec you can get a much better stroller than those.

Second hand bugaboo bee. I call it my pocketbook. You hardly feel your pushing anything and theyou last forever.

Thank you for your suggesstions. Keep them coming. I don't need one with a separate bassinet since I have minimal storage room. If there is an amazing carriage out there then I will consider spending more.

baby jogger city mini gt

folds easily,
has a wide comfortable and nicely padded seat,
huge hood (usefull when when sunny or windy),
wheels are soft and suspended and sturdy (u can use it on roads just as in the forest),
pushes easyily,

it has a decent basket- which I love.

u could get a baby bassinet but I never bought it and simply used it without a bassinet for my newborn until he was 4 years old (the seat is really large).
another plus is- easy cleaning (I clean it every other week, or when needed)

I have the uppa baby Vista and whilst I love all the features of it , it is an extremely heavy pushchair to push and very clumsy to fold.
