I live in NY and send in a foodstamp application last week. I actually worked thru Mrs Schwartz. Approximately how long will it take until I receive something in the mail from the state regarding my application?

a month? how long did she tell you? one of the major holdups is the phone interview it can be rescheduled a few times.
