The upstairs floor in my house is always so much colder in the cold weather, than the main floor. I wanted to buy space heaters for my kids bedrooms. My youngest is 10 yrs old. Any recommendations for where to buy them, and what to buy? Thanx.

Honeywell is excellent. You can set the timer and desired temperature.

Oil filled radiators are safe for kids bedrooms. I've got Delonghi's that I sometimes use.

I have been using Delonghi oil filled radiators for twenty years. Every bedroom has one. I have been very happy with them. You can buy them on Amazon or Costco or most other places that sell home appliances.

I'm about to order it from Amazon. Should I pay extra for a one year or two year protection plan?

These oil heaters have served me very well. I wouldn't waste money on a one year or two year service plan. Mine have worked well all these yeari forgot to mention, they add significantly to my electric bills.

OOhhh. That's a problem. Hm. Wow. Maybe call Delonghi? Or return to Amazon?
I got a new one at Amazon about a year ago and it had no bad smell. It's odorless.
