Does anyone know of any buses that go from Flatbush to downtown Manhattan? Jewish woman that has multiple back issues- it's REALLY difficult for her to take subway, especially up and down the stairs, yet she needs to get to and from work every day.
Looking for an option where she can walk to a stop and just take a bus.
Also, she's not religious- would this be an issue for the regular patrons on the bus? (She's "older" and dresses appropriately)

Where in Flatbush? There are city buses that make the route every day except for Sunday (BM1-4)

east 13th between ave r and s
She's near kings highway and Coney Island / ocean pkwy

The BM3 stops on Ocean Ave and Ave R and goes downtown.

I never looked into that.... I thought that was just for going to and from doctor appointments?
