My question is, do you feel that you've really got the cleaning squared away with her help or does she just do 'light' housework? Also, how does she balance both tasks of babysitting and taking care of the house?

She does it all and she does a great job.
Laundry and bedrooms she does with the kids playing near her, and mopping/bathrooms/vacuuming she does when the kids nap.

While my kids are now all married, for many years I had someone like that.

Mine also does everything. Cleaning, cooking, childcare, laundry, ironing... Today I have her a hammer and she hung up a net for my kids stuffed animals. I absolutely love her!!

Mine does both but she's not great at cleaning.
I doubt she'd be better if she wasn't watching the baby.

Mine does both but I watch the baby when she vacuums and mops or does any sort of organizing. The baby plays near her when she does the rest. Before I had help that is what I did, but the baby Def behaves better with her then with me.
