Just been approved for WIC and nervous about actually doing the shopping. Which store is the easiest - clearly marked which items are WIC items and well stocked, cashiers know how to process the checks smoothly without needing to make a whole production out of it - I'm ashamed enough that I need to be on WIC as it is, I don't want anything to make it harder.
Oh, and we like pride of the farm milk, so not NPGS.

I also use kosher village. They're happy to tell you if an item is or isn't on wic, it's a seamless process and if you're organized it shouldn't take any longer than regular grocery shopping. In the beginning when I took the wrong company cheese the cashier went to the back to change it for me
There is nothing embarrassing about wic though. Their guidelines are very high because they want moms and young children to be on it and to eat healthy

when I used wic at farm fresh they let you keep the wic items in the wagon without unloading....
