I'm thinking of hiring a telecommunication consultant for my small business. We're paying a lot for all our communication expenses and I think we might save some money this way, but I'm a bit hesitant because I don't know if there are any disadvantages.
Did you ever hire a telecommunication consultant? Were the results worth it? Were there any drawbacks? And if you were satisfied with your consultant and they service the NY area, could you tell me who you used?

We recently had a consultant come in for our company in Brooklyn, he didn't charge a fee, he implemented a host of changes, saved us 50% on telecommunications,
if you are interested I will get his contact info from my manager.

Got us a lower price with Time Warner, and changed us to internet phones,
These are the changes I'm aware of, I know he was helping with some other things as well,
