I live in NJ.
We currently have Verizon Wireless and our monthly bill is approx 150 - but may increase to 200 - with only 2 lines - and I would like to see if I can switch and get it below 100 or lower.
Current plan:
Unlimited talk and text
6 GB - DH uses most of it for work. He has to stream video from a remote site- but doesn't have WIFI to connect to. I use maybe 1GB, most of the time I'm on WIFI.
Cheap long distance to Canada. DH uses about 15 minutes a month now.
$15 payment plan toward iPhone
$11 insurance (we could really lower that to $9).
$30 second line (my line)
The above also includes an employment discount I get through work
My phone is dying. To get a new phone would add an additional 15 (phone) 9 (insurance) 25 (additional cost of line with new phone).
So our bill will be close to $200. That is a fortune.
But switching doesn't seem like it would save a us a lot. I need a plan with very reliable talk, text and data in the tri-state and Philadelphia areas (DH's work takes him all over).
I looked into project fi and it didn't look like we would save too much:
$20 - plan
$15 - line
$10 * 6 = 60 Data
$95 for the plan
plus phones:
$20 * 2 = 40
Its close to 150 already. Plus our current phones don't move with us.
Anyone find a way to cut their phone costs if using a lot of Data on the go?
thanks

Page Plus looks interesting. We could even bring DH's Iphone SE.
How is their reliability? reviews online are pretty bad, but it could just be those who felt the pull to write them.
Do you know what network they use? Verizon works much better were we live than T-Mobile. (I see its on Verizon network)
