Hi,
My baby is outgrowing her infant car seat, and I need to get her a convertible.
However we dont have a car, but we go places a lot so we usually take taxis to get around.
Till now I had the doona, so never had an issue (or any infant car seat that clicks into wheels would not be an issue either.)
The problem is, that once we get to our destination, I would have to carry the car seat all around with me, with no wheels.
I cant be the only one with this issue. what does everyone in my situation do?
TIA

How about getting something like this to go with it?
https://www.bedbathandbeyond.c.....ice=c
ETA: I just did a search, and now I notice that other stores sell it for considerably cheaper such as amazon and target.

I used to use a regular Samsonite luggage cart.

Might make more sense to rent a car for the days you need it. You can find really good deals online sometimes. Or in some frum neighborhoods they have local companies with hourly or daily rates. It could even be cheaper then taxis. Also there's companies like zip car. But you do have to factor in gas and any parking fees. Then you can keep a car seat in the car.
If you're looking for a lightweight convertible car seat - I recommend the evenflo tribute lx. It weighs 9 pounds.
Good luck!

A lot of people in my community buy the Cosco Scenera Next (I have it too) and use it with the Mountain Buggy Nano. It fits it somehow. Unofficially, but it does.

Some toddler car seats come with wheels and extendable handle. I've seen that at airports. |
Yeah ive seen this, but its not for everyday use around the normal city:)

We have this: https://www.amazon.com/BRICA-C.....05S2Y
It's nice because you can wheel it or carry it like a back pack. Brica also makes other nice carseat pull carts.
We also bought a very light weight car seat (I recommend Evenflo Titan - my kid ~4 and still fits in it. . . rearfacing! She can probably use it until age 6. Costs only ~$100. The carseat weighs about 10.5 pounds, which is very light for a convertible).
Most importantly, if you get a carrier, make sure the carseat you want will fit in it.
