DS age 6 was in the bathtub, I told him not to wash his hair tonight. Then I see him dipping his peyos into the bath water. I asked him why, if I told him not to wash his hair. Then he gave this cute explanation. He said his rebbe told the boys that he toivels his peyos in the mikvah and that's why his peyos are so long. ( his rebbe is Breslov and never cut his peyos). So he was "toiveling" his peyos so that they would grow longer.

my mama uses the same expression with an emphasis change ... we used to try & mimic the differences
"what ARE you doing?!"
"WHAT are you doing?!"
"what are YOU doing?!"
