Cuisinart is recalling food processor blades with rivets from a wide variety of models (stretching back years) because they might break apart and cause the blade to fly. It's very quick and easy to check if your model is on the list - mine was, as were the processors of several friends on Facebook. All you have to do is check your numbers and if they're positive for the recall, submit your info and you should have a new blade sent to you in 7-10 days.
