I want to put together a collection of happy stories of the past year, basically focus on the good news that's all too often overlooked.

I am interested in anything that was reported or happened in 2016, as long as I can find some kind of source or reference.

Miracles, acts of kindness, and medical breakthroughs all qualify as good news.

There were 186,923 babies born in Israel in 5776. (The census goes according to the Jewish year.) Also 26,990 Jews made aliya. Smile

There was the story of the two girls on a Shabbaton in Orlando who went missing and were found BH well.
