I voted for both, but I use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream.

After making latkes for the very first time, I've discovered that I do not even like latkes after all! 😱

if the latke is good enough, it shouldn't need any accompaniments. However, if they are defrosted, not fresh...I would prefer sour cream

Neither! I eat them with ketchup. I cannot understand what latkes and applesauce have to do with each other ..

I ate my latkas with apple sauce yesterday - thinking it was a bit strange, but who cares, I like it..... And come on here to find out it's a "thing". Oh well. Seems like this food combination isn't one of my strange ones Wink

None. Fresh latkas are the best thing ever! Why the need to add anything?

Ew if anything potatoes go with ketchup - I do not get how sugar or confectioners sugar or apple sauce and cream cheese go with it :/

I like mine with ketchup. I tried sour cream & applesauce yesterday and found the flavors just cancel each other out. ... I get how sour cream goes (baked potatoes go with sour cream)... but I don't get the applesauce. I prefer applesauce by itself, or have it fresh & hot with vanilla ice cream. Meanwhile, I'm going to stick with ketchup on my latkas.
