Looking for a recipe that doesn't use corn. Went to make my icing and looked at the confectionary sugar I bought special for the donuts and it's made from cornstarch

Do you have potato starch or tapioca starch at home?
You can make your own confectioners sugar using regular sugar, some starch, and a food processor.

Fyi, most of the organic confectioners sugar are made with tapioca starch.

There are kosher le-pesach brands of confectioner's sugar without corn starch. I don't know what's available at this time of year, but it's worth asking at a kosher grocery.
