I just read this book, and it was a really really good and insightful book, yet was also a heart wrenching, sad autobiography.
It is on the NY times best seller list.
I would love to share my feelings with a fellow reader out there. Did anyone read it?

I thought it was beautifully written. What a talented person he was. You get the impression that he would have gone on to do great things.

Having a child under the circumstances was quite a decision.

I didn't regret reading it but didn't think it was AMAZING, like the reviews all raved. Even the introduction made it sound like the author was unbelievably insightful and wise, and how every sentence has so much depth and nuance. I guess after all that hype, I was kind of disappointed. And, of course, it was/is a truly sad story in general. So I wasn't really left with a satisfied or inspired feeling when I finished.
What aspect of the book did you want to talk about?

Thank you all for replying.
I guess I wanted to share my sadness. It was so heartwrenching to get so close to him throughout his book and then to be with him through death. It was a really vivid picture that left me in buckets of tears.
He also wrote so honesty and really gives over so many important messages through his life experiences and feelings.
I found it to be a very deep book that left me with a lot of emotion.
