I am looking for some sort of sink insert for my fleishig sink so that I can wash pareve dishes without worry. What I have in mind is a metal perforated type of basket with handles so that it can sit in the sink with the handles resting on the counter a that basket doesn't actually touch the sink.
Has anyone ever seen such a thing? Are there any from websites that I look on?
Tia.

Google "over the sink colander". Maybe something like that could work for you?

Something like this?

We have stainless sink inserts. They have legs so the inserts stand on the bottom of the sink without touching. Kind of looks like cookie racks, sink size. Doesn't come up the sides though.

I don't know what that means. I am suggesting something like this:
If you can be specific about why this is not what will work for you, then maybe it will help someone else post something more appropriate.

Now I have a parve sink but previously I used a dishpan like this:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d.....lSrch
I drilled holes in it for drainage and put a rack like this under it:
https://www.amazon.com/Rubberm.....ONDU4
That kept it from touching the bottom of the sink. It worked great.
I actually bought two identical dishpans and left one without holes to store the other one in under the sink when I wasn't using it. (To keep any water left in it from dripping everywhere)

I am looking for something similar to an over the sink colander but bigger and that can hold the weight of a couple pots or pans. I am thinking that something metal will be more sturdy but perhaps plastic will be as well?
IKEA makes one but it is only one size and it is very small.
Eta: I feel like a from store or website may have something like what I am looking for. Does anyone know of any from online sites that I can check?
