One of the dead is the son of Ori Orbach who died around 2 years ago. I am sick.
Oy. These poor families.
There's a Yael, Shir and Shira also listed as dead.
This is horrible.
I'm always calmer when my soldier son goes on days like this instead of his regular duties.
Not anymore.

I'm just stunned. Those poor kids. I can't even take it in. And apparently many soldiers didn't fire at the terrorist because of the shameful Azaria ruling. The repercussions of that pathetic decision have only just begun, I'm afraid.

Thank you for that. I think this deserves a separate thread, because it is such a good thing for us to keep in mind, especially when emotions are running so high.

I know that you're not the one who brought politics into this thread. I would just like to see political comments moved out of the Tehillim forum. We are a passionate people, and if anything needs davening about, it probably IS politics - but it still doesn't sit quite right with me to mix the two when people are still in shock.
