Anyone out there got tips on how to get kids to sleep?
I've tried so many options unsuccessfully.
It's 10.23 and they are still making noise! 😥 😥
Any advise?

I have found lavender oil helps. Put a little on cloth next to their pillow so they breathe it in.

Consistent routine
No screen time or sugar for a few hours before bed
Relaxing music
Essential oils
Make sure bedtime is timed for when they're already tired
If they're distracting each other apply some discipline to enforce quiet, or separate them
Melatonin if the difficulty is severe despite above types of attempts

Are they napping late in the day? Maybe falling asleep on the bus? What time do they wake up in the morning?

How old are the kids?

I gave up the bedtime battle, and let natural consequences do the job for me. I told DD that she could go to bed whenever she wanted, but she WILL be up, dressed, and on the bus on time in the morning. She is also expected to stay awake in class, and keep her grades up. If she cannot meet my expectations, then she will agree to a set bedtime, and stick to it.

After a few days, she started putting herself to bed early! Every time she got herself up, ready, and out the door, I made sure to tell her how proud I was of her, and how responsible she is being. Every single time. I don't say one word about bedtime, ever. If a child craves your praise and attention, it will work.
