I have a few very heavy shelves approx. 40 inches wide and need to have 8 inches cut off each shelf.
Where can I get these cut?
Is there a tool I can use at home to cut them on my own?

Are these formica covered maximum density fiberboard shelves? If that is the case you can't cut them.

These have been previously cut at a lumberyard in another neighborhood.
