Spray the blood stains with windex. It has hydrogen peroxide in it which breaks down the components in the blood.
Then throw in the washing machine and wash as usual.

Put blood stain under cold running water . Then once wet apply kosher salt liberally and let sit . The salt draws out the blood like when they kasher chickens. You may need to do it a couple of times. Then wash in your machine with regular laundry detergent. It's worked for me. We have kids with nosebleeds a lot. The best is to wash when the blood is still fresh and is not dried yet

use baking soda & vinegar along with detergent & some elbow grease ... scrub rinse repeat till out damned spot
once no more blood is seen throw in the washing machine to completely clean
