Does anyone have a corn soup recipe using regular canned corn as opposed to creamed?
if not, is there a way to make my own creamed corn using canned?
thanks!

You can probably make a corn soup the same way that you'd make the pea soup from KBD, just substitute corn instead of peas.
If you don't have the cookbook, just sautee an onion, add a bag of peas (corn), sautee that together, and then add 5 cups of water with chicken soup mix dissolved in it. Let it simmer for a few minutes, and then use an immersion blender.
(this isn't the exact KBD recipe - I've modified it to make it less fattening and simpler).
Are you unable to buy creamed corn where you live? I have such a great and easy Chinese corn soup recipe.

Boil 4 cups of chicken stock. Add one can of creamed corn. Simmer.
Beat two eggs and slowly pour the eggs into the boiling soup while stirring constantly.
You can also add thin egg noodles.
