I was just approved for child health plus for my children. I now have to choose which plan to take. I live in Monsey. How do I go about choosing the plan? What worked for you?
TIA

Sorry to hijack. But, I live in Brooklyn and have United Health care comm. plan under Child health plus. I'm thinking of switching to Fidelis or blue cross. Reason: I need an eye surgeon for my son and can't get anyone decent with UHC. Also, I'm trying to get approval for braces for my son and they denied my case. Any input?

I have CHP empire plan for my kids. I'm more limited with dentists than I would have been with united health care. But u can get better specialists with empire.
Orthodontists are not covered under CHP as far as I know.
