I have other kids but I forgot what I did. Is the first thing you start off with baby cereal? How much? How often? What else should I know about it?

We started with baby cereal, but some people skip that totally and start with "real" food (very soft foods if your baby is young). I believe we were told to do like 1 tbsp of rice cereal mixed with like 4 tbsp of breast milk or formula (I used a bit less liquid then that). then as baby gets used to it you can start making it thicker and start giving more. I think like 1-2 TBSP 2 or 3 times a day. (and then you can start trying out pureed fruits and veggies as well). Really just see how your baby takes to it and go from there. You'll see if they want more or if they don't want much or whatever.
