I have 48" beds and currently use standard twin quilts. Need to buy new linens and thinking of switching to Full size quilts. I know that the linen will be more expensive, but I don't purchase new linen that often so I'm ok with that. I'm curious if you have this setup and are happy. What's your take?

Yes, this is what I have. When I was buying my linen they asked me what size comforters I will have and I decided I'll get full size. Love it. I like the look of a large size comforter when the beds are made as opposed to the twin size which I think would look shrunken on a larger bed. And my husband and I cuddle very often and it's nice that the comforter has room for both of us.

Absolutely like the full size better. I didn't even realize that I had the twin size quilt covers all these years. The full size hangs over the sides of the bed and it's so much nicer and a bigger blanket is even more comfy too! The only downside: I find it much harder to put the quilt in the quilt cover when changing the linen, because it's so wide. But you definitely have my vote for full size.

Me too and got more compliments on the IKEA linen than I did on my $500 set I got in a Jewish store. Definitely worth looking into
