My 4.5 y.o. just had a check up at the pediatrician, and they checked his vision using a scpecial machine that attaches electrodes to the head while the child looks at the screen. He failed the test (he passed it a year ago), and now the ped recommends seeing an eye doctor. Can you recommend a good one in Brooklyn, whos has reasonable hours and not crazy wait?
TIA

The doctors at Dr. Steel's pediatric office are wonderful. They also have Sunday appointments.

The office is well run, the wait time is usually minimal. As far as getting an appointment, IIRC, for the first appointment we had to wait a couple weeks. Ever since then, I schedule the next appointment at the end of each visit, & it works out well.

I like the dr at gruen optical. not sure if he sees kids, but I've had experience with lots of eye doctors for myself. he's very thorough and knowledgable.

I second dr steeles office. They cater to children, and deal with them very calmly.

I usually just take the one that's available first. I've had a good experience with all of them that I saw.
