Do you feel like covering your hair makes your hair dirtier or oilyer and that you need to wash it more often then before you got married?

No, I wash my hair the same amount per week that I always did.

I wash it less. It gets less dirt due to being covered and I don't put any product in it. I also don't end to wash it just for the look. If looks neater freshly washed, but that doesn't matter now.
I'm so happy to have one less responsibility in my busy life.

I wash it every time I shower, just like I did before I got married.

I do actually, but it might be because there aren't 10 kids waiting for the shower in my house...
But also I have the feeling of it being less clean because it doesn't get enough air.

I wash it less!
I used to have to wash it daily so it would look nice (I have curly hair that only looked nice after a shower when I put in gel/mousse, never looked nice after I slept on it).
Now that I cover it, it doesn't matter what it looks like, so I wash my hair every other/every third day or so.

I don't know if I wash it more or less, but it stays cleaner longer when I cover it all day because I'm not touching it.

I wash it more now that I am married. I have thick hair and it lasts a while till it gets oily. When I was single I used to do my hair twice a week and wear a shower cap the other nights. Now whenever I shower I wash my hair.

I too wash it less.
Oily hair is oily - I don't think covering has to do with anything.

I wash it more. After I wear a shaitle I feel gross and dirty. After I wear a snood or tichel its the same feeling, so every day-two days depending. I often shower just for relaxation, not dirt, and every time I shower I wash my hair.

I do. Simply because although I really wanted to wash my hair each night when I was single, I couldn't because it made my hair too limp to do it so often. So now that my hair is thinner anyway after being put under a shaitel, I just wash it each night the way I like to.

I rinse my buzz cut every morning.
Now that my hiar is so tiny I would skip putting all this chemicals on my scalp. I to shampoo beforet mikva but I really should stop. It makes my scalp scratch.
As soon as I stopped using shampoo 2 years ago, all my scalp itching disappeared and no more dandruff!

I wash it the same. My hair gets oily after 2 days so I shower every night and only wash it every other night
