Sounds like carpal tunnel syndrome. You should probably get it checked out by a doctor.

In the meantime, you can try a wrist brace for extra support.

Thanks for your quick response. Would you know which company is good and which type of band?

Do u have it in both hands?
It's so painful.
I had Carpal tunnel in both hands. Most people get it only in one. Bh with braces mine improved a lot. It's still sore but manageable bh.
Good luck

Get an ergonomic mouse. I highly recommend this mouse made by GoldTouch. It really helps me a lot.

I don't know what insurance you have but you may be able to get a referral from your doc to a physical therapist who will do exercises with you that should help the problem dramatically and pretty quickly. (I used to work in a PT office and women came in with carpal tunnel all the time)
good luck!

It could be tendonitis as well. Have it checked out. I had it twice. I get it from holding my baby and feel it the most when I type cos that's when I use my thumb the most
Both times I wore a splint for about 2 weeks

Don't get a brace without a doctor's guidance. I did that and made my problems worse. Could be carpal tunnel or tendonitis. See a doctor. Get anti-inflammatory meds. go for physical therapy if needed. Get a brace if recommended.
