Shira is the obvious choice.
Also Miriam (whose name is in the parasha when she sings with the women) and Devorah (haftara is Shiras Devorah).
It's also Tu Bishvat, so a fruit/tree name like Ilana would work.

Yael is also in the haftorah.
If you're looking for something original you can use something like Nesya- Hashem nisi is at the end of the parsha.
And of course, you acn use words as names, like Tamar- from the tmarim, and so forth.

What's the connection?
Also...don't be mad...but why do people name after the parsha?
I once heard a big gadol (I think it was R' Kanievsky, but I'm not sure) said, "And what if the girl was born before Parshas Para? Would you name her Para?" (Para = Cow)

There's Tzipporah, and Ayala, I actually wondered how come there isn't Para....

I know many will disagree but personally I would also name after a person as opposed to a song tree or cow. I think Miriam is an excellent choice. Now don't start with this all names were words once... if I named after a person named shira or Tamar or ilana.. whole nother story

Most people in Tanach were named for character traits rather than for other people.
Also, a lot of secular Israelis think that the name Devora is hysterically funny. Who names a girl "bee"?!?! Lots of animal names have become traditional. Rachel, Zev, Tzvi, Dov, Aryeh, just off the top of my head.
Consider that a lot of your preferences come from what you are used to.

Naming after the time of year is very common. How many zillions of Menachems/Nechamas are there who were born in Av? Or Chaya Sara for the parsha, or Meir etc. for Chanukah, or Esther/Mordechai for Purim? Everyone thought my Purim baby was going to be Esther, and we surprised them. As for the original question, if it's not too late, I think Miriam is lovely.
