My son is four and forever losing his yarmulkas. Is there a way besides clips to have it stay on his head, maybe velcro or sewing a peice of shaitel band inside?

The way to keep it on is to keep the hair short-like not longer than a 5 in the area that the yarlmeka goes on. This way, the hair acts as velcro.

really short hair w/ a knit kippa (if that will fly in your area) works great!

I cut DS's hair on a 2. Works like Velcro.
