These therapy websites are a fortune!! And amazon is not cheaper! Is it possible to get these sensory items anywhere cheaper?? Some of the things I'm looking for are the body sock, disk to sit on at school, weighted vest or weighted lap pad . . . to name a few.

Most can be easily crafted. Weighted items , body sock, compression vest.... For sure

If you get a cheaper one, it may fall apart on you... sorry I can't be much help. Like my cheaper brand scooter fell apart...

True, you can try sewing weights into a regular vest... and a weighted backpack is easy to make... throw bags of rice or beans into a backpack and zip it up!!

Bring a picture to a seamstress and ask her exactly what you need to buy so she can recreate it.
