How can I find out what oven they use for TV shows like the GREAT AMERICAN BAKE OFF, and Master chef.
Renovating my kitchen and would like to have a good quality oven.

who says those are the best? My guess is they use whichever company they can make the best deal with (everything is about money). I'd get my recommendations from somewhere else.

(btw I did find this for you: https://www.vikingrange.com/co.....rchef ) seems like it's talking about the first season but you can contact Viking and see if it was used for all the seasons and which models were used if you want to know more.

Agree with lucky14.

If you contact the shows via their websites, I am sure that information is available.

They often use GE and Viking but it's all about promotion. The appliance companies want their products in tv kitchens in exchange for the publicity. I would ask: which ovens/appliances do professional chefs choose for their homes?

Try to track down Kitchen For Cooks by Deborah Krasner for this information.

Your best bet is to look at Consumet Reports.

I figured if they bake beautiful goods they must have a decent quality.
I do understand that price does not necessarily mean the best.
Also need to look at the Sabbath mode factor

Nothing to do with the question, but after reading some other posts this morning I just wanted to say, wow that was really nice of you to take the time to look something up for a stranger. Thanks for the good feelings and pick me up this morning. Better than a piece of choclate.

Definitely not. Whatever oven company sponsors the ovens is who they go with.

Any "commercial" oven such as Viking or Thermador should be good.
