Mr Potato Head stopped changing his nose,
Did not alter his eyes, or switch off his toes
Its an important day that you must see
With mitzvos to do, I assume you agree
Good thing, he had time to put on his ears
For missing megillah was one of his fears
He was just playing twister when he looked at the clock, and all kinds of fun just had to stop
No more did he blink, with those eyes he just picked
It did not matter. if he looked so geshicht
There was more to do, then give money to the poor
He had to find treats, from a nearby store
He had planed what to give for weeks on his own
For a potato ideas are not easily grown
While playing with candyland , each part of the board
He imagined yummy things, each time that he scored.
With so much to do, And so much to see
Are you surprised that you may have his company?
Well after the day, when the mitzvos are done
You may catch him simply sitting in the sun
A friend by his side Relaxed in the park
Playing with checkers till it gets dark
What you may not have realized and perhaps you weren’t told
Besides that he has a heart full of gold
Its kind of a secret,the world kept from you
But Mr Potatohead is actually a Jew
