Hi my 6 year old daughter was recently diagnosed with ADHD and has been on medication for a month now. Although it has greatly improved her focusing in school I would still like her to get counseling /behavior therapy to work on her executive functions(time management, organization, impulse control ,emotional stability). I live in marine park bklyn and would like a social worker who deals with children with these issues but someone who takes insurance since I could not afford private. Any recommendations ?
